Knee Deep in Weeds

I work in the garden all morning; I water, deadhead and pick two tiny tomatoes. I also see the snake. Later we hang the new photos, I had printed, on the wall. We end up moving things around a bit until I find an arrangement that I like. He is patient with me, knowing how I am often undecided just where I want things to land. The heat keeps me inside with a new book until early evening, when I wander out to see if the squirrel, Baker chased up a tree, had made it down.
