“Everything that slows us down and forces patience, everything that sets us back into the slow circles of nature, is a help. Gardening is an instrument of grace. ”
- May Sarton
I have gardened forever. Even in college I had a small patch of flowers in a tiny bed out front of the little house we rented. Our garden today boasts several perennial beds, fourteen raised vegetable beds, a blueberry and raspberry patch and a native garden, meaning I have let it go back to its natural state. My garden is not well planned out, I move flowers each spring, placing them where I think they might flourishes. I buy new ones, mostly from garden sales, and toss the ones that just don't do well into the compost bins. The photos here are all from my garden.
